I don't know if I'm willing to watch another Watanabe series so soon after the last.

The tone is very different. I don't think you'll be getting bored.

    Anyway.

What's up with Amuro's dad when he sees him on Side 6? Has he got space Alzheimer's or something?

The music choice was perfect. First thing I did when I finished watching the show was go look up the soundtrack on SoundCloud.

Yes, he doesn't care about his organic offspring, all he cares is ribits.

Oxygen deprivation, brain damage. All thanks to Amuro blowing a hole in the colony where he first jumped into the Gundam.

    Nice. Never noticed this.

    That's really cool (Dandy).

    That's really sad (Gundam).

Shit like that is what made my subtitled revisit of the original MSG all the more interesting. It really is a great story, and has some very interesting characters.

That really is a cool homage, very slick. It's a piece that is a junk addon for the Gundam, made after Amuro's dad lost his marbles. It makes sense that it would be fairly useful in the haphazard world of Dandy.

Dandy doesn't achieve greatness in the way that Bebop did, but it's pretty clear that it was never striving to do so. I've been enjoying the show consistently, you won't find me saying anything bad about it.

Terror in Resonance is looking to sate the people who just desperately want the next Bebop/Champloo.

The Boku no Jihad OST is intense. Almost feels like I've spoiled something.

It's been a damn good year for animu tunes. Now Ping Pong just needs to cunting hurry up and drop.

I would ask why the production team would spend so much money to say absolutely nothing in a visually impressive way, but this is a world where people will collectively pay $50K for some goddamn potato salad.

    Anything is possible.

I watched the first ep of Aldnoah.Zero. I'm interested in where the war conspiracy is going. I'm not convinced anyone on Earth thought triggering a war was a smart idea.

Hahaha I know it's only been two episodes but Sabagebu! is already shaping up to be one of my favorite shows ever. I haven't laughed this hard in a long time, love the shows commitment to not taking itself seriously. Also MC is a serious contender for best MC of all time. I liked the first episode but LOVED the second.

    Spoiler!

Dandy was always a show I saw has something lighthearted and fun just for the hell of it.

Just saw Terror in Resonance and it has nothing to do with Bebop/Champloo it's too different to even be comparable with those shows.

I dunno, the way they used stuffed animals is pretty resonant of the Teddy Bomber in Bebop and the overall action throughout the episode is the same kind of style we've seen from Bebop/Champloo.

Of course, it's not a clone of Bebop like Champloo was, but it's clearly the Watanabe action show that nerds keep thinking Dandy will turn into.

Also, ep 2 of Dandy was excellent. Dandy is truly the most misunderstood man/show in the galaxy.
