So the reason why Windows 7 was claiming it was an illegal copy was because, well, it WAS an illegal copy. The people at the shop that repaired my computer and offered to upgrade my Windows (it had Vista originally) failed to mention that. And charged like it was a legal license too. This is infuriating.

I'm fairly sure my nose is broken but the earliest I can get booked in to see a doctor is after I've left Uni and back at home, the waiting list can be ridiculous sometimes. It's pretty annoying but hopefully I can survive a bit of minor discomfort and it'll just sort itself out.

That's pretty bad. I'm assuming you're going to complain/fuck their shit up.

Just make sure you straighten it a few times a day and you should be alright. I had that happen to me once and it actually wound up being straighter than it was in the first place.

They already got an earful. Sometime next week I'm going there to raise hell in person.

More of a niggle compared to some of the other posts in here, but annoying nether the less.

My friend wanted to borrow A Game of Thrones (she watched the show and enjoyed it), which last year wouldn't have been a problem. Of course it is now, though, as we now go to different schools and hardly see each other. So I thought I'd ask her boyfriend, who I go to school with, to take it home for her the next day. Simple, right? Wrong. He says his bag is too heavy, so there is no possibility of him carrying it. I was a bit pissed off, but if he literally can't carry anything else, I thought I'd just let it pass.

So I go into school and he has his bag open on the desk. So, naturally, I glance inside and he only has his iPad (which I once borrowed to go online and he had fucking porn open from the previous night! And it's a touchscreen!) and two small textbooks. He could have fit about ten of the books in his bag.

I don't know if he's jealously guarding his girlfriend, really fucking lazy, or just a cunt. I think it's all three, actually.

So out of the blue I get a bill in the mail today from the hospital in Boston that stitched up my wrist:

I don't even know where to start, with the hospital or my insurance company, but as far as I understood it that $75.00 copay at the time was all there was to it on my end. This is why I don't go to the hospital, folks.

That shit happens all the time. I would follow up to make sure everybody involved is on the same page.

So I learned why you don't buy software on craig's list, because even if you ask if it's a legal copy they will still sell you a shitty burned copy with a bad serial number. Filed a claim with Paypal on what should be a pretty clear cut case, but I'm sure we'll get screwed over somehow.

The fuck is up with motherfuckers who have to talk while changing and showering at the goddamn gym? I had no idea I walked into the goddamn sewing circle room instead of the mens' locker room. And it's the worst when it's some Mexican dude with a voice higher than any woman I know. How about I punch you in the groin so your goddamn balls drop?

All of the best fights happen while:

    A) naked
    B) in men's locker room.

As someone from the insurance world, your co-pay would be most likely all you paid for a regular doctors visit(sans lab work/x-rays/however your plan is designed). Because you went to the ER, I'm sure there's some amount of liability you are obligated to pay, which will of course be buried somewhere in the back of your policy. It's meant to be a deterrent so people don't flood the emergency rooms for every little ailment. It's also why I don't sell major medical.

Yeah, why the fuck would you expect that to even work??

Gats, out of curiosity, did you set up the folders just right? Cause I gather from your posts that this is the first time you try it and you might have overlooked it maybe? It can get very finicky with the way the folders are setup for it to recognize the update.

What do I need to do differently, for future reference?
In the PS3 folder on your device, create a folder named UPDATE and store it in there.

Yep, what Byronic said. There needs to be a folder called PS3, and a folder in that one called UPDATE (all caps required), and inside the update folder is where the downloaded update goes. For some reason it is very finicky about this, and only this, when reading things of a thumb drive.

When a library is closing at 10:00 PM, don't tell me I can't come in at 9:55 PM to return my books because you're closing soon you shit fuck wankers. Honestly, I haven't met a single member of staff at that library that isn't a massive fucking tool.
