That sucks dude. And definitely fuck going all digital. I will never give the asshats that run this clown show of an industry control over everything. Flip of a server and your shit is gone and won't be a thing you can do about it.

Gatsby sold his account to a Ubisoft PR firm.

Have you changed your console after you last played those games? If so you'll need to transfer your licenses over which can be done at http://www.xbox.com/drm

If you haven't changed the console, I have no idea other than phoning the support line and hoping you get some sense out of them.

Haven't changed consoles, no. And it's not all of my XBLA games, because I played a couple of older ones that I hadn't in a while with no problem last night. So far it's just those two that I've noticed, though I haven't checked every one.

My housemate Lauren threw away the tag on the loaf of bread and it's expired before we bought some more.

This is literally the worst fucking thing possible. Hitler would shit himself to hear about this.

    Fucking hell.

    Wow.

The Secret World is now on Steam.... but not if you're in the UK.
You can pre-purchase Dishonored.... but not if you're in the UK.

C'mon Valve, get it together. If something's not available in a region, don't list it. Like, the PS2 era GTA games aren't listed on Steam in Australia 'cos you can't buy them. Don't rub the fact I can't buy stuff in my face.

I'd be sad if I couldn't get the PS2 era GTA games. But I can so I am not sad. And I have them so I am negative sad.

Started the process to get hold of a chosen flat yesterday and apparently we've already been turned down because students. One day I will have a business where I am biased against landlords.

Steam won't sell it unless its the pirated NoCD crack version.

That sucks, only reason I thought it was the licenses is that it happened to me for the reason I explained, for me it was Sonic 1 & 2. I couldn't get mine to work although I'd signed into my tag, seems to happen to a lot of the older XBLA titles where it kicks up a fuss if the DRM licenses aren't transferred to the new console or they're just messed up on the same console.

What's adamant on sending you to A+E GloBo?

I need to stop helping people, they only make you regret it.

Nothing wrong with helping people, you just have to be sure of who you're helping before you do anything.

Don't regret being decent enough to want to help.

Don't stop altogether, I learned the hard way that I can't be something to everyone all the time, especially those who were just being a dick to me or others.

Try to identify the ones who don't deserve your time and back off in anyway you see fit to not hurt their feelings or at least so it causes you less aggravation. It'll be hard if you're a caring soul and want to help anyone and everyone you can but some people are just not worth it.

Sadly a few bad eggs can spoil the basket and make you feel like giving up. You'll find a way through it though.

Nah I never stopped before, I probably never will. I like helping folks if I can.

Oh I should've updated; I did what you recommended anyways just for the heck of it and it worked. Odd since I hadn't changed consoles or had it repaired since last I played those games, but it worked so that's fine.

Best thing about the whole mess was it made me dig out my Sonic's Ultimate Genesis Collection disc so I could play Sonic the Hedgehog there, and I finally went through and played a whole lot of those games for the first time. I just got all of the achievements for the collection last night, discovered I love Fatal Labyrinth, and have been having fun with a lot of the other titles I never gave a chance before.

Good to hear. The Genesis collection is a good disc, I got hooked to Phantasy Star on there, good games considering I'd never heard of them when I owned a Mega Drive back in the day.

Yeah, I'm going to need to devote some time to the RPGs on there. I was a Nintendo kid, so a lot of these I either never played, or barely played at demo stations in stores or at my one Sega friend's house. Most of my friends were fellow Nintendo kids.
