A guy with the username of Dan CiTi posted a link to a Destructoid article over on the Absolutepunk.net forums. My memory is hazy but it was either Burch's Twilight Princess review or Jim's AssCreed 2 review. I was impressed that this site had the guts to call out the big guys on their bullshit. I stuck around because the writing and personality of the staff vibed with me in a way that no other gaming blog or publication did before or since.
I didn't make a forum account for a long ass time. This is actually my second. Lost the original and was too impatient to wait for Dixon to send me deets. But yeah, forums have never really been my thing. I'm trying though. Lots of great folks down here.

I found Destructoid through the first HAWP episode that aired on Gametrailers, the Bioshock one.
I was made aware of this sites existence though the magic portal of Escapist forums while searching for an explanation of what is Podtoid.
I was forced here by a Turkish gang. I grew to love them as I did this site.
Youtube mate. Glad I just signed up!
Destructoid's Twitch.tv channel
As I was getting into twitch, I care across Foom playing a game on the dtoid channel. It was epic fun, and it just took off from there.
Who is Foom?
I found Destructoid through the Jimquisition. I watched a bunch of them on the Escapist and that led me to Podtoid and then to here.
Same old story-came for the Sterling, stayed for the community.
That is not even the old story.
It's pretty much what I say.
Come for the Journalisms,
stay for the communititties.
Multiple journalasms.
Baffling.
I don't know. What am I doing here and who drugged me? It had to be that evil toaster in The Sink....
Floated over from Japanator. Been reading for years now.
