Obligitory "What are you listening to now?" thread

So when you aren't playing games(or maybe when you are), what's in your stereo?

I tend to be listening to Metal, particularly Power and Folk Metal. Bands like Rhapsody(hence my signiture), Nightwish, Ensiferum, Dragonforce, etc...

Many of these bands' songs remind me of RPGs. Fighting for the king, slaying monsters, all that good stuff.

I'll listen to about anything really... I can usually find something I like in any genre. Although, I have yet to find any Country music I enjoy.

So tell me what you guys listen to. Perhaps we can discover some new music in the process.

Older punk rock and emo. It gets me going. Billy Talent, From First to Last, Fall of Troy, I am Ghost, and the like.

The tallness: Nightwish and Dragonforce are both pretty sweet.

I rock my itunes when i play WoW and it is usually metal and hard rock. I like to listen to Bathory, Gwar, Amon Amrath, Finntroll, Slayer etc. I also dig on old punk like the Rollins Band, Bad Religon, Fugazi aand that stuff.

I forgot Iron Maiden. Nothing beats PvP with Number of the Beast or Piece of Mind in the backgrond.

I'm a huge music fan...I'd like to think I'm rather eclectic. I enjoy a lot of "older" music (big Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd, The Who, etc fan). I also like a lot of modern music, though the mainstream is rather weak these days. I really like metal, though I'm not a metalhead by any means. I just like intelligent, well thoughtout music.

I also love going to concerts...in fact, I'm seeing Nine Inch Nails for the second time a week from today.

I should probably stop here, before I start rambling...once I get going, I could talk about music for hours.

    Anyone on last.fm? Here's my page: http://www.last.fm/user/Brainwashed97

    By all means, ramble!

I got a last.fm account not too long ago. http://www.last.fm/user/thetallness

The mainstream is indeed weak. Unless of course that's all you've been listening to, which would truly be a shame.

As for metal, I know an excellent site for downloads, but I'm not sure what this sites rules are on these things. Eh... remove it if you need to, Destructoid.

Tons of (possibly) lesser known artists of many genres from all over the globe, with links to downloads.

Hip Hop. Underground hip hop. None of that FM radio/bling bling/gangsta/hustla/club this club that crap.

I also listen to video game music while driving sometimes.

my college roomates and i put on a custom playlist from one of our iPods while we're playing halo and have it on the 6.1 setup we have.
On it is Bon Jovi, Queen, Journey, some Billy Joel, not much of his stuff is good to listen to while killing people! Live (they're amazing!) Breaking Benjamin, 3 Doors Down, Meat Loaf, Creed, The Darkness, some Fall Out Boy, and more.

its a 400 + song playlist, that gets things added/taken from all the time.
