Seems they might've created a Johannson/Black Widow model at some point and then turned it into Madame Hydra because the features are similar. Kind of. It's probably more noticeable in the game but w/e.

I don't mind the practicality of the game version, it's just horribly designed from an aesthetic principle. She doesn't have to look like a paramilitary harlot like the comics, I'm pretty sure a balance on the sexism scale could've been achieved. But both designs are on opposite sides of the scale, and both are horrible.

What bugs me is how some of the newer interpretations seem to have fixed her face. She used to have her hair covering one side because she was horribly scarred (lol villain tropes). In the game they show it happen. Cap reflects a bullet back at her, disfiguring her permanently, and she's like, "I will wear this as a badge of honor!". She's pretty awesome. Not for looks so much as personality I guess.

I mean on the game version. Clearly it's a custom tailored outfit, otherwise it would be a uniform. And I don't even mind that the fabric suddenly changes from the rest of the jacket. But why THAT fabric and with those stripes? Like she forgot that she's a part of a major terrorist party, and decided to get cute with it, out of nowhere. It's doesn't make sense.
