The devs are bringing back the Build of the Week video series where they take a nontraditional user build and highlight its strengths. Every one of these just blows me away with the possible variety in this game... and it further makes Diablo 3 look like a poorly designed waste of time.
Crazy dagger Shadow build:
Mother fucking Mike Tyson unarmed Marauder build:
"This [episode] features a level 73 Marauder called Mike Tyson who can one-hit-kill monsters by punching them."
Damn, that sucks. Do you have a monthly bandwidth limit or they just love to throttle your speeds? I don't really get problems with bandwidth throttle unless it's peak usage times, which is fair and it dosn't drop too much.
Well it's a 'fair usage' policy so technically we can use whatever but it's tantamount to a bandwidth limit of 40gbs a month. It's usually not too bad if you just download stuff in small lots, it's only when something's larger than a few gbs that they seem to start throttling. It's a village thing.
Glad to hear! I have some spare great you might like, but it's nothing remarkable, just my 27 Ranger's hand-me-downs.
I'd take you up on that offer but i'm level 26 now, haha. Enjoying the shit out of it so far, do you know if the characters are locked to region or can people from US/EU connect to either server with the same character to play with others?
That I'm not sure. I liked pm the site and couldn't find mention of cross-region gateway play, and I'm not sure the question was understood in-game on the chat. They said yes, but logic would lean toward characters created on one region's severs are separated.
One way to check is to test it ourselves. I'll make a character this afternoon on hardcore and I'll try to group with you.
Edit - that's funny, I just made a cold dmg witch last night, too!
Tried to get this on FnF yesterday, but I think Foom's stream superseded it. Foom was supposed to do an interview with the lead designer, Chris Wilson, last night. Skype was causing his comp to be all fudged up, but I'm hoping this gets rescheduled. I think it'll be a play-along sort of deal, so you might be able to kill shit with the game's creator and Foom (and maybe a programmer, too) if it goes down.
