The Ni No Kuni Thread: show Japan some love

Graphis are drop dead gorgeous! And I haven't played any JRPGs in a while, other than Pokémon, so I'm looking forward to getting my game on this May

Bout a month since DQ and about 3 since DK. Lack of any HD tvs probably helps this opinion.

I haven't played Dark Cloud 2, but DQVIII is indeed a great looking game. But Ni No Kuni looks way better in my eyes, both from a technical and artistic standpoint. The animations are just so reminiscent to what I picture when I think about anime. I was literally blown away by it, from the very first trailer I saw. Each to their own though I guess

Yeah, don't get me wrong, it looks great, but I've never been a fan of that... Well, I don't really know what to say other than washed out art style. But at the same time I know it's not washed out, just... I'm bad at words today.

Tried to get my girlfriend to want it, but it's too Japanese. Anime scares her for some reason. I'll have to find the money for it at some point, but Aliens and Metal Gear take priority.

My thoughts exactly. I spent the whole of last year fantasising about this game, but I seriously thought it wasn't coming until March at the earliest. I need this game in my life.

My Nino Starter LE finally shipped... to the wrong address. I called them a week ago to make sure it was changed. Of course not. So I now have to pay 13 dollars to reroute via UPS. I knew this would happen, amazing that getting the LE Nino starter edition essentially punishes you.

My PS3 60 gig is about full in memory though... gonna have to swap out HDDs here this week (bought a 750HDD and been lazy). I think i'm just going to copy all my save files on a thumb drive and just re-download everything opposed to doing an official Transfer. I hear the official way is a giant pain still.
