Ubisoft doesn't know if it's their users that got compromised, or if their database got hacked, and recommends using strong(er) passwords. Which are pointless.

I have an account with Ubisoft. It's damn old though so the password is no longer used for anything important.

Does that not anything important have your email address? A security question? Last four digits of a credit card? All of those can be used to take over any and all of your accounts. For example: http://www.wired.com/gadgetlab/2012/...honan-hacking/

Card isn't attached and my email uses a different more actually hard for a computer to guess password. I avoid security questions when I can but if I have to use them I lie in them.
