Oh Arglactable, getting 5 games from one..... cheeky! I really wish i was not moving house, we packed all out shit thinking we would get the keys tomorrow, however no keys till the 11th! SAKE!
I'm ok with calling the episodes games. It will take me ~3 months to actually play through all of them. That's an effort. When I get sucked into RPGs, I never finish shit because I have so little time to sit down and play these days.![]()
I've noticed now and again DLC being counted as an added number to peoples lists. What's the rules with DLC exactly - does it have to be a substantial expansion or add-on like say Lair of the Shadow Broker or simply one added hour-long level to a game?
I was a little bit torn about that, but Telltale makes such a point of very clearly dividing them into episodes that they feel like separate entries in a series of somewhat short games.
In the case of walking dead, I would most definitely say that they are separate games, well not separate games but substantial adding to a singular entity which opens up a lot more content. I'm going to have to find some IOS games to keep me going for the next week! Any suggestions folks?
7. Downloadable content can count, provided it's a full expansion on the level of The Elder Scrolls IV: The Shivering Isles. If the DLC merely additional missions that are integrated into the regular game, such as the "Bring Down the Sky" DLC for Mass Effect, then it doesn't count as a separate game.
I wouldn't say length really has much to do with it. I can beat Castlevania on the NES in 20-30 min. That doesn't make it any less a game. Anyway, all of this is really just for fun. For myself, finishing an episode would be an accomplishment and I plan on counting it.
So I can assume that Castlevania is going to be on your list then, Dig?
If I play it and beat it again. I'm not badge whoring as you can see by my game counts in the past couple of years. If it was for the badge, I'd plow through some old school shit no problem.
Play some flash games, the list would be huge! :P I think a 2 hours worth of flash ga,es would beat my list of last year![]()
