GaiymeTrAlerz has their VGX stream going on RIGHT NOW, guys!
So far they've shown Tomb Raider Definitive Edition for PS4/Xbone, then they've officially announced Cranky Kong and shown a couple levels of DCK: Tropical Freeze, while Reggie wears a Metroid lapel pin.
Upcoming is Matt Stone and Trey Parker and a peak at the South Park game.
Now, Max Payne look-a-like, Sam Lake, is talking about Quantum Break.
Edit - Telltale announced a Borderlands AND Game of Throne game. That's in addition to the Walking Dead series and Wolf Among Us series they've already started!
Honestly, Joel McHale's Soup humor is vastly better than the 'powered by dew' presentation of the past, and it's much more preferable to me than Geoff Keighley's constant insistence on reminding us who is and isn't a "real gamer" in every third sentence.
Edit 2 - The Devision had a pretty awesome trailer:
Here's CD Projekt RED making Bioware look like a bunch of chumps now owned by EA:
Unexpected highlight of the show, No Man's Sky:

What an awful, cringe-inducing mess.
No Man's Sky looks pretty dope.

Not even Joel McHale and the announcement of a playable Cranky Kong could save VGX from being terrible. The last two years of the VGAs weren't exactly great, but they at least looked like they were putting in some effort into making the show relevant. This year had none of that. The interviews were awkward, most of the award winners were announced in the pre-show (which to be fair has always been the VGA's biggest problem), the reveals were mostly disappointing (though a Telltale developed Borderlands game piqued my interest a bit), and most of the time it felt like Joel was told before the show started to tone things down. Overall, this was one of the worst years for the VGAs in my opinion. And I know that a lot of people wrote this off as "well the Spike VGAs were always bad", and that "this show is for dude-bros and not gamers" but that's no excuse; they went out of their way this year to try to make it a serious thing, and they failed miserable.
tl;dr: The VGAs are usually bad, but not this bad.
Updated the first post with some videos, including No Man's Sky.

With every subsequent trailer they put out for Witcher 3, the harder the wait for the game becomes. That looks like so much fun. I'm so glad they post these things online after so I don't have to actually watch it.
I'm taking it from the general commentary that the new "X" on the end didn't help improve the show?
I'm so glad I didn't watch this.
Fuck, has it been ten years already?
Woke up to the news of Telltale's announcements. I'm excited for them but also a little worried that they could be spreading themselves thin to jump onto some IPs at the height of their popularity.
Just seeing the visual links to the trailers that have been separated from the main show has been enough to put me off ever watching the whole thing.
I don't think I missed out on anything by not watching it.
First and last time I try to watch the thing live (I made it about 2/3rds of the way through before turning off), though I did enjoy that No Mans Sky segment. I share Edd Strids concerns with regards Telltale possibly spreading themselves a little too thin - here's hoping we finaly get a halfway decent GoT game. Witcher 3 continues to look sweet.

Gone Home is the PC game of the year!
That's right: Soviet Customs Simulator and Walking Though an Old house: The Game are the best two things the PC have to offer. This is why the so-called master race is considered a joke by everyone!
Meanwhile the Console "peasants" have to make do with GTA5, TLOU and SM3D.
Now Destiny will never get ported for PC due to "Complexity of the platform". It is over, PC Gaming is dead!
tl;dr what is your reason for still having a PC?

I completely didn't notice the VGAs happening. Yay.
Watching the abridged stuff between Joel and Geoff.
I'm embarrassed to be a gamer right now.
