Look at all the fun he's having.

Asshole comments aside, he really should learn to roll.

Woolie and Pat doin an LP! Wish I could watch but spoilers

I've been looking into Arced sword vs. Murakumo, and it seems that Arced swings are slightly faster (is it noticable though?) and take less stamina than the Murakumo. But, the stat requirement is weird lopsided. Anyone used curved greatswords?
07-12-2014, 03:36 PM
Only curved greatsword I played around with was the dragon one with the multiple shockwave attack.

Yeah, that's what I'm aiming for with my quality build, gonna compare it to claymore.
07-13-2014, 08:00 AM
I actually kind of like the Bastard sword over the Claymore. The bigger difference is probably the absence if that poke, but I feel like the BS is slighty faster and combos better.

Range in general is superior on the claymore, but damage wise, those two are nearly equal. Which means, yeah, whatever feels better, stick with it.

We should go some rounds sometime, domanz. I'm playing a new character right now but I'll let you know whenever I get to SL 120 - 150.
Yo, yubby, what SL do you host your fight nights at?
07-13-2014, 09:53 AM
Yeah, I'd like that. Got 2 chars around lvl 150 and several around 100.
Answering for tubby, he barely does PC fight clubs (don't deny it), but if he does, it's usually SL 150 or 230.

Dark Souls 1 PC fagified the series with this "git gud" bullshit. All PC has to offer in the souls series is neckbeards with tiny dicks who are extra critical and overvalue themselves to make up for it.
07-13-2014, 12:29 PM
I just want to play some friendly matches, man.
I'll let you guys know when I get up to SL 150.
07-13-2014, 01:18 PM
Really sorry you are disappointed in the size of my dick, bloo.

I'm having a rough time with the belfry gargoyles. I think I need to take a step back and do some upgrading.
07-14-2014, 08:53 AM
Upgrade your pyro hand. It'll help against them bastards. That and run circles and take swings/toss fireballs when you can.
07-14-2014, 10:17 AM
Summoning a phantom also makes that fight alot easier. And it'll be very hard iff you don't deal decent damage. Usually, when you get to servant quarters, you won't be well equipped or leveled to tackle that boss IMO.
07-14-2014, 10:57 AM
Try to focus on one at a time. If you can take them out quickly enough, they won't overwhelm you. Also, don't hit the stationary statues if you can help it because that might bring them to life prematurely.
07-14-2014, 11:02 AM
I got to around level 80-something by helping a lot of people co-op the Pursuer and Lost Sinner, but my equipment kinda sucks. I apparently went past an area or two before, so I'll backtrack and see what I can find.
I was only able to summon help once for the gargoyles, and the guy got himself killed halfway through. After that, I kept getting invaded and killed and had to waste more effigies, so I put the stupid game down for the night.
07-14-2014, 11:19 AM
Yeah that's the beauty of the belfrys. Better make sure you have good stats and an equally upgraded weapon so this place does not take a dump on your head next time. Bad equipment seems to be your bottleneck. May I ask your build?
EDIT: What I like about the upcoming patch:
"Health Recovery Items can no longer be used during any PvP"
Oh, some suckas gonna be mad.
