I've changed gyms 3 times in the past 2 years because of my locations quote: "If you're the strongest person in the room, you're in the wrong room". I don't say any of this to brag(the other 2 gyms were small so being the strongest wasn't hard or anything worth mentioning other than to prove a point here) but to so you can understand that complacency is not your friend, and exercise/bettering yourself never ends. I moved on to be challenged, and to be pushed harder to become better. Being the king of a small pond is nothing compared to competing with beasts of the ocean who I may never best but will make me better.
So again, you are to be commended for your efforts bro. I really mean that. But don't think that there isn't farther to go or that you've reached a level that cannot be pushed further. And by doing that, confidence will come and bouts of depression will be easier to fight. I speak from experience. Exercise, tough, hard exercise can help you. You just have to let it light that fire in your stomach to become a god among men. Ancestors from every walk of life had their men strive to be the strongest they could be for reasons more than wars/ needing soldiers.
