To add to Dig's comment on guests, maybe only have them on for 20-30 minutes or so? I know that when I guested on Alcoholocast, I was only on for a quick bit to rant about how pandas are awful.

Ideally what I'd like to do with guests is invite them contribute to the pre-show planning and sit in on the whole show, including stuff like listener questions and favorite quotes. That way they can help pick community stuff they want to talk about and would essentially be co-hosts for the week. Will that work? Don't know, but I think we'll try that out and tweak things as needed.

It's worth a try, but I think that adding a 6th voice (possibly 7th if Ali D is planning to get in on this too) is going to bog things down if they're present in every segment. Play it by ear.

Well it's not like everybody needs to comment on every segment anyways. I haven't listened to episode two yet, I will tonight, but I mean Randy seemed to be more in the Ed McMahon "You are correct, sir" role in the first ep anyways, if you know what I mean. Not everybody is going to be talking equally regardless.

But I haven't heard the second ep yet, so yeah.

See I'd be totally down for this method. Guess we'll iron out the details once we get comfortable enough with the base group that we can start inviting guests.

i really thought the intro voice was chad concelmo at first.
guest throughout is fine, but don't let it make the show longer.
beccy's accent is still hot.
i enjoyed the episode.
