    I'm not surprised the Giants won, I'm just surprised they swept the Tigers.

    (Still makes me happy the Tigers lost though)

    Im not surprised Detroit lost...im just surprised they got swept. Especially Zito outpitching Verlander in game 1

    Despite how well everything was going, I would've been perfectly content ceding gaming 1 to Verlander, especially since being down didn't seem to hurt the Giants leading up to it. Sandoval taking him yard twice (out of three homers) and Zito just locking down was pretty magical.

    Everything about this was magical, though. 2010 was something else, this was something else else. Both these Giants teams had such improbably, storybook runs, it just warms my little heart. Really one of a kind.

    I'm just happy the Giants knocked off the Cardinals. As a Brewer fan, seeing those jerks get into the playoffs makes me sick.
