Not really feeling this week's episode, but then not giving it full attention.
I am terrified to watch X. So far I hear it's not too painful but I'm worried it's gonna be another "Back to earth."
It's kinda like Series 5-6, but not as funny.
Still, it's better than I expected.
ehhh... I guess I can give it a chance. After reading some of the books I won't ever be happy with that show.
Not too keen on tonight's episode. Got better as it went on though.
Spoiler!
I think I will dislike the episode the more I think about it.
The one thing I hate about X is that it either takes an age to set up a gag or there's a complete overkill involved.
In the last episode, Lister's messages to himself really stopped being funny after the third, but Naylor dragged that out to five-six returns. You knew where they were going with Rimmer hearing things too. You could easily jump in before anyone takes the piss out of him (and even then Lister makes the same "Yeah, that noise is you!" gag twice).
I haven't watched tonight's but since its a story that has them on the move, the gags won't be so tiresome.
I'll say it again, without Rob Grant the show is nothing and will never be what it once was.
Pretty true. The show's best ended with his departure. But Season seven did start off strong dammit.
But then there would have to be at least one Irish person in it.![]()
Season is over then.
3/10 some funny bits.
Thankful my aerial can't pick up Dave.

I didn't think it was that bad, overall. Far from the best Red Dwarf episodes, but amusing enough.
Mostly painfully average with a few good spots.
