It seems it has a max player count of 16 in a game. I'm assuming some of these stages are much larger because the ones they played on....16 people?

That'd be insane.

Oh yeah, some of the stages seem to be four times that size, split into two or three 'arena' looking areas with their own hazards, connected via several corridors.

Actually, looking at the video again, I think the bigger stages are just expanded versions of the small ones we saw here.

Not sure how they're accessed. The bigger stage I saw looked like the city beneath that rooftop stage (I think around 12:00 minute mark) and you could jump onto roof tops, then down to the street, and go toward a cliff area in one direction or a more urban (maybe subway) place in the other direction. Each area was as big as those entire stages, and were all seamlessly joined.
