You said two of my favorite things sir, Republic Commando and Aliens. Now all I need is a time machine to zoom off to 2009.

At least it seems better than the other Alien games out right now. I may consider buying this when it comes out.

I seriously wish this game would allow you to play as a xenomorph, like in the AvP PC series (head bite ftw), but I'm glad that they finally decided to resuscitate this title. I remember looking forward to it on PS2, and cried myself to sleep on my facehugger pillow when I learned that it was cancelled.

I have no choice but to purchase this when it comes out. Totally worth it, though.

Could the Aliens game franchise be a rare example that films to games sometimes work? Personally i think most the Alien games have been average, bar the AvPvM games on PC but this looks kinda promising.

Aliens 2 was easily my favorite Alien film, if only because of Hudson

    Hell yes! Love that game.

Read the Game Informer article on the new game, looks sweet. With luck I should have a pretty nice PC to run it out by the time it's out.

I love Republic Commando, so something close to that would be a cool game in my opinion.

Nearly started a new thread but found this.

I'm hoping to play more of this at Eurogamer, but I really enjoyed the little bit I did play at Rezzed. Though we only got a chance to try out playing as Marines against Sega Staff's xenomorphs. I always find that generally playing as a xenomorph is a bit clunky, so this should be interesting.

All that scandal about them not having a female character option in multiplayer (which peeved me as well) seems to have made Gearbox buck up their ideas and sort that shit out, because it seems now according to news from Pax, that female options now exist within multiplayer. Perhaps Vasquez will make an appearance.

I really want that special edition, but doubt I'll get my hands on it. It's so...wonderful.
