dtoidlove Fields of Fresh - KickStarter Campaign An Epic RPG on a Farm

I know the word Epic is used too much.

Fields of Fresh has been in development for about 2 years now, and we need your support for the final stages. We want to provide the best pixel-arted, side-scrolled, action packed, overly dramatic, farming RPG game possible.

Things we need to fund are our voice actors, musicians to create unique music for the game, spriters and animators.

This project has grown constantly overtime, with us going from developing the Game in Game Maker to C++. That conversion process has taken up quite the amount of time. If you are tired of all of the bad social farming games, please back our project to support a farming game going to the roots of what a RPG game should really be.

    Thank you for your support.

Thanks again your support to indie gaming everywhere![/QUOTE]

Can we add a "Do not make your first post a Kickstarter pitch" rule to the Forum Guidelines?

At least they're putting it in the right area so it's easy to ignore.

I guess they missed the bit about making an intro.

The Kickstarter for a new Leslie Vernon movie failed last night. It failed hard too. Like over two hundred and sixty thousand dollars short of the goal failed.

Oddly enough, yesterday I also got my Torgo shirt and Manos pin in the mail from the Manos: The Hands of Fate restoration kickstarter. Just gotta wait for the restoration itself to finish and I'll have my BluRay of that bad boy.

Why is that horse's face so smashed in? Was it abused?

What does any of that mean ZP, can you explain? It sounds interesting.

I think this project will go better if they had a proper artist on their team. I know the Kickstarter is supposed to pay for that but damn this is nasty.

This is the Leslie Vernon one. I signed on for thirty-two bucks and a BluRay. Sad it didn't make it. Check out 'Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Veron' if you're at all interested. It's a fun horror/mockumentary. It's not a comedy, but it was made to be funny and wears its humour proudly.

This is the shirt & pin I got. Manos is a movie famous for being bad, ridiculed on one of Mystery Science Theater's most popular episodes.

I also helped fund an Attractive Eighties Women album three years back. Got the CD, a shirt and my name in the liner notes.

    Yep.

I don't think I've seen the Manos episode, I'll have to look it up. I remember a few references to it in episodes though.

Shame about the Vernon thing, only got the trailer to go on but looked interesting and different. I like the whole post-modern mockumentary take on the horror genre, kinda reminds me of what Cabin In the Woods tried to do.

The first Leslie Vernon exists, it's that 'Behind the Mask: The Rise of Leslie Vernon'. I don't think the new one was going to be a mockumentary again. Check out the first movie when you get a chance. Not everybody likes it, but those that do tend to love it.

Ohh right, sorry, I didn't see the return/rise bit when I first looked :S

    I'll check that out then.

I hope no one is offended by my post here. I've been on the forum for quite some time, mainly as a browser and less of a poster.

Also, one the main goal is pay for people in departments we're not experts in like art, acting and music. Also, that character was actually made ugly ON PURPOSE.

I think the horse looks better than the player, but with your support we can actually pay for an artist

Check Rule #6, I updated it a while back when the crowdfunding begging threads started getting really annoying. Shockingly, it gets ignored a lot by new people.

So sorry, please delete this thread. Didn't know crowd-funding threads were banned here. It's not like a usual rule on forums.

They're not banned, which is why there's a subforum for them. Have you read the rules yet?

Yes I did, apparently it says place it into my signature...

  19. #19
The word signature does not appear a single time in the rules.

    What it does say:

"You can share links to your personal blog/YouTube account/whatever in your introduction thread, but if you don't follow that up with actual efforts to integrate into our community expect swift justice from our Spam Hammer. Make an intro thread and tell us who you are before you start shilling, or you will not get a good reaction."
