    Centering Post Images

    Hello,

In my first post I was able to center my header image by using the [center] command. This works well within the post itself. However, when displaying the abstract on the community blogs page it displays the [center] command as text which ruins the abstract. Is there another way to center images?

On the c-blogs I don't think there is, they're dreadfully lacking in such things. I'd recommend editing the image to be 620 pixels wide with white spaces on either side.

Thanks for the response. I've already had to bail on the bb code for images as it stretches them. Found that direct image links seem to work well though.

What Tarvu said, and you might not even need to bother with the white spaces. As long as it's 720p* wide, you should be good.

*changed number after checking, my header measures 720 after automatic resizing. At least that's what I thought, until I realized it was showing me the measurement for the original link, which is actually much smaller...LOL IDK LOL

I've settled on Tarvu's idea of using images with a set 620 px width. It's kind of a pain but it only takes a couple of minutes to create transparent png images with PhotoShop.

Better than having a blog that looks anything less than neat and tidy.
