It will be okay, they said

Hi I'm Typokween. Because the name just got kind of stuck.

I stopped participating in forums a long time ago and just lurked around like a creep. I guess now is as good a time as any to stop being a creep and get back to participating.

I like reading books (Chuck Palahniuk, Stephen King, Neil Gaiman) and graphic novels (The Sandman, Hellblazer, Preacher) My love for The Sandman has no bounds. Neil Gaiman once wrote a blog post and used a photo of my tattoo referencing his work, and that drove me apeshit crazy.

Okay enough about that. Games! What I signed up here for!

Some of the stuff I will love forever: Chrono Trigger, the Shin Megami Tensei series, Earthbound, Baldur's Gate (and variations thereof - Icewind Dale, Neverwinter Nights) ah, and Fallout.

Picking a favorite is tough but I always enjoy reading Misery. Probably all those descriptions about being high, so vivid. Oh and I like Dolores Claiborne too. I think King shines in short stories though. His Everything's Eventual and more recently, his Full Dark, No Stars are absolute gems! <3

And about my pool-related incidents... uhm, you don't want to flick that invisible carrot. )

    Edd - thanks Edd!

    Mr. Gobbldigook sir -
I work in an indie game dev company as a writer. Don't ask what kind of games, you wouldn't like it.
If you're really making me choose... okay green.
Sadly, the Wu Tang Clan remains to be some form of supernatural entity for me. Like Santa.

If you plan on getting into Sandman again, now's the best time! Gaiman is making a "new" Sandman story next year! The first one in more than a decade!

somehow those are all correct answers. green is awesome, and the Wu is really not something easily understood by the normal human mind.

Try me on the game. I may enjoy at least the idea.

Thats awesome I get my kindle back from my moms house soon so I'll totes check out sandman. when does the new run start?

    Greetings.

Stephen King's not my favorite writer, but I've read a shit-ton of his books and love discussing his work. My favorite books by him are Insomnia, It, and The Langoliers.

I like your taste in games as well. Which Shin Megami titles do you like?
