It's a Paragon/Renegade system. You lose a few Good Guy points for mayhem but the difference is negligible. They use the notifications for effect, mostly. It's like, -5 every time you hit a civilian with a car, for instance.

The Drug Raids are a great way to build them up. If I remember correctly they pay out in the thousands and they're actually quite addictive as well. You beat the crap out of some guys, do a minigame to hack a camera, then another minigame to send an arrest squad out from the surveillance set-up back at your apartment.

The difference is that you can only lose points while on a police assigned mission. It doesn't really restrict you while just playing most of the game. It just gives an incentive for precision in those missions.

I hadn't even noticed. I've been avoiding wrecks simply because I like how they did the illusion of speed. Zipping between cars at 100+ mph is especially fun in this game.

It's usually not the main appeal for me either but this one is different. The combat is especially fascinating once you get it down to a reptile brain reflex action. There's nothing quite like seeing the guy eliminate upwards of a dozen attackers without missing or repeating any moves.

Also that reminds me, here's a link for PDFs of the manual. They did that thing where the game itself only comes with like, a two page folded sheet.

    Thanks for that!

I hated them for their manual, but as least it's not a photo copied single piece of paper like Black Ops was.

Okay, so the actual triad and cop mission have completely halted for me, and I've just been doing races and drug busts for the last three hours. Do I just need to finish all the races?

My most gleefully sociopathic moment in a open world sandbox, ever: scoring 97% on "All Out of Love" after brutally murdering the karaoke hostess.

    I really like this game.

God damn, I am loving this game! I love all the unlockable melee moves as the variety in combat is just skyrocketing! The gunplay is really tight and solid, too!

Yeah, when the dark blue Case and green Story mission emblems don't show up when you click L3, you'll instead see a white tag cycle through called "Go to bed".

It just dawned on me that Remedy was giving actual game advice, and not simply telling someone to GTFO the forum.

Same here. I thought he meant something like. "You're playing the game too much, take a break."

Anyone found some basketball courts filled with fucking tons of enemies? Seems the place to be if you want some good fashion crime.

I did all the Martial Arts/Fight Club things. They have six ascending rounds. The first round you might be fighting three guys, by the sixth it's over a dozen. The exp isn't as good as the races but they're the best way to make cash. The last one I did paid like 50,000, plus they give you the best costumes.

I now have two Bruce Lee outfits. The Enter the Dragon kung fu pants with no shirt, and the Game of Death yellow jumpsuit as seen in Kill Bill. Also got a white sifu shirt like Seraph wore in the Matrix and the Muay Thai outfit dude had in Ong Bak.

While I was referring to the game, it is solid advice both in game and out. :P

Lol that's funny, because for all I know you're his dad. Or big brother. Or something.

Anyway! Just noticed a thing about the Jade Statues. You can't get to them all from the beginning. At least two of them are only accessible during story missions. About to take the last one now that I've realized this, after having spent who knows how long trying to get into an apartment that's always locked otherwise.

So, any estimations on when this will be cheap?

I'm strapped after paying off Halo 4 and BL2.
