New to Friday Night Fights? It's easy to get involved!

Each week, a bunch of us Dtoiders get together to play videogames online! It's a 100% community-run event, so feel free to join in or even host something yourself!

The planning for FNF starts here in the forums, where community members volunteer to host matches and post their pertinent details (game, time, Gamertag, etc.). Then, every Friday, reminder posts go up in the cblogs followed by a recap post on the front page for last-minute planning.

To join in, simply send a friend request to the match host! (Don't forget to say you're from Dtoid!) If you'd rather host something yourself, just post your details below in the following format:

I've been super slow in putting this up because I'm stupid but the guys that run the Free Hugs BF3 server have offered us the opportunity to play their B-team players in some matches this Friday or the one after. It would be whatever twelve guys we can get together vs whoever they have in some matches and we can choose maps and modes and whatnot if we want.

Given it's the B-Team, their best players won't be involved so we will actually have a decent chance. Also, as far as I remember the only rule is no killing people in uncaps/dead zones and no stealing vehicles from uncaps/dead zones.

So, anyone up for getting people together for this?

You can't kill people while they are still in their uncappable base or in what would be a dead zone for you and you can't steal the vehicles from there either. It's a fairly common rule in battlefield that helps to stop epic baserape

Good. A few people have said they'll play in the Gears thread as well so private matches should be a go. I recommend ZP host the actual room as so far everyone's had the best connection to him.

I actually start work on Monday(yay!) so unless my roommates want to go out I'm going to get shitty and be on XBL. I'll probably play some L4D if gareth is still hosting then move on to BF3.
