    The Gardening Thred

I can't be the only gamer in the world who likes Gardening (I hope!) so thought it worth starting a thread devoted to gardening !

I'll start things off with a picture of our garden before and after we moved in three months ago into our new house. What d'ya think?!

And yes, I did accidentally put Thred instead of Thread, but then again, what a clever play on words!

Dammit I thought this was about a different type of gardening...where I am in London we have a nice little garden and some lovely trees and flowers grow without our intervention. In Ireland we don't really have a garden just a lot of fields/land but we plant random flowers all over the place so we don't just stare at green.

Bloody cats doing drive-by poops in my Garden! Anyone know the best ways to stop the bastards? Got a Cat-Gun that fires out some sonic noise they dont like, but they only scare the cats off for a short amount of time.

    Like Black Cats?

My Dad uses a hose pipe, which appears to be effective, but requires unreeling the hose pipe every time I see a cat, by which time the cat will have already done his business and buggered off!

Spiders keep whiteflies and mites at bay, he's doing you a service and spares you the trouble of buying Spruzit.

I know my shit, i sell garden plants and tools for a living.

I just let the spiders be in or out the house, they do a valuable job of keeping other bugs away.

The only time I move them is if someone is petrified by them, otherwise I just like to watch them run all over the place.

I haven't killed any of the spiders, though the bad rain we're having last few days might have destroyed their homes. I just don't like walking into a massive web and then one of them looking at me with their multiple lusty hungry eyes.
