My take on Mass effect3 and other stuff (spoilers)

Hello, I am new here, but here goes. I got into Mass effect with the second one. Bought the third one immediately after release. The ending was a little limp dick, but I was okay with it,since i didn't play the first one. Then everyone goes apeshit. Guess people didn't realize there are about 13 endings, not only three. Your EMS (?) rating dictates what ending you choose. They totally could have explained more, but the extended cut helped. I now know why some talented people are insane: Pour your heart and soul into something, and people still complain. If fans have every electron of Mass effect add ons, comics, other media, and still find holes in the story, I am sure you can make a blog pointing out all imperfections, but I am fine. Next, Mass effect 3 has taken me to the limit of having to be online to play games. You have to play a lot online to get some of the endings. Total bullshit. I won't go any farther with the online required shit with ANY game. Speaking of which, are RPG players a lot more forgiving regarding always online single player rquirements? That Diablo 3 bullshit is insane. I don't get into RPG's , but I would go apeshit if I had to be online to play a single player game. i am 42, so mebbe that's part of it. Next, Steam. These guys have the same marketing bullshit that apple envies. Yes, they have some good points going for them, but they're not your friends.I have all kinds of problems with them. Locking up swithching between on and offline mode, games not playable even though in offline mode(!?) Trying to e mail them is almost impossible, similar to dealing with Games for windows live. But I did get Metro 2033 for 20 bucks. I don't see much of a difference between Origin and Steam. GFWL IS a piece of digital shit though. Thanks for listening.

You should have probably posted some of this in the Mass Effect thread.

I thought the ending was alright, the extended cut pretty much gave me everything I wanted. The whining was pretty stupid though.

It sucks that the game wasn't finished until three months after release. People would've loved it if the so-called "extended" version had been available on day one.

    I wouldn't have loved it.

People would have still moaned, but not as many.

People moan about everything. Including other people's moaning.

I still would have been pissed how all my war assets meant fuck all when it came to game mechanics.

Moaning within moaning within moaning, huh? That's pretty deep.

When you look deeply into a shallow pool, the only thing you see is a reflection.

We've already got a Mass Effect thread, so if you've got something specific to say, head there.
