OURFIRG, 3D Adventure Game @ Kickstarter

OURFIRG is an upcoming 3D Adventure Game currently in its early stages of development.
The game is expected to be released in November 2012 and will be available for PC, MAC and iOS.
It is a story driven game full of intriguing characters; set in a fantasy, fictional, fully explorable 3D world in day and night.



It features original concept graphics, original music score, 3rd person camera, in-game cinematics, real-time animated action, cut-scene videos and voice-over.

When we used to kill these sorts of threads on sight, we'd get emails sent to support whining about it. Even when it's a small no-name studio, it's not a good idea to alienate developers who in the future might put out something we care about and want to cover. So the powers that be wanted us to start letting it slide when it's game related. WoW gold/streaming movie sites/cheap sneakers/et cetra we still delete.

But yeah, this whole subforum exists as a ghetto to stick crap nobody is interested in. DON'T TELL OP!

That trailer really doesn't sell the game. The writing looks like something off a fanfiction. Most people won't bother looking past that. The gameplay lacks style too.

The music (From :36 on) sounded like it was quickly hastily put together on Finale and exported as a .midi . (Exported midi files can in fact be used as a final product successfully if the instrumentation is done right, but this is not the case here. )

Erm, no offense. imo? Ah whatever.

Good idea for this section though. I don't mind the ghetto. Though being in two different ghettos at the same time? Dangerous stuff.

Hello!

We posted this thread here in this section due to the fact that it is Crowdsourcing related. We had no intention to a make a spam advertising of our project in Kickstarter or to violate any of the forum's rules. Ourfirg is in an early development stage, in the prototyping phase. The graphics will be more advanced in the final product, the music in the trailer is only for this purpose and has not to do anything with the final product and all the gameplay trailers show only prototype-gameplay.
We await more comments and are here to communicate because the feedback from the public is very important for us trying to better our game.
