Hey everyone, I've just started an IndieGoGo fundraiser at http://www.indiegogo.com/ProjectToxic to raise a little bit of money to start a new video game web show. I'd love it it you at least took a look at the video and page after I spent the last week preparing the project.


It's only just began and there's still plenty of time left but I'd like to get the ball rolling ASAP. I'd really appreciate if you could just take a minute to look at the proposal and share it on whatever social media site you can. I'd also be happy to answer any questions you have about it.

I checked this out, and watched the video.

The essential pitch is this - the guy wants to produce a youtube channel of game reviews / criticism. He wants a modest sum to fund it.

That's a noble goal, but honestly he should just start doing it - and then ask for money to keep it up. I'll believe that he has things to say about video games, but can he produce quality content on a schedule? Will he replace some of my existing game watching subscriptions? Without any evidence that points to yes, I don't feel this is a very compelling pitch.

It certainly doesn't help that the video itself is so bland.
