iPhone, iOs, and Android games thread

I just recently picked up an iPhone and was looking around here but didnt see any good place to recommend and ask others about good apps and games.

I just picked up infinity blade for $.99 and Cthulhu saves the world just came out.
I also use the tapatalk forum app all the time. I almost like it better than using my PC.

what do you play or use?

Jetpack Joyride is incredible, better than many games on the service, and it's free. So... get that.

I recently downloaded WarGames: WOPR, the official movie licensed game, and it's pretty badass. It's an action puzzler, where you have to match tiles to launch missiles and blow the shit out of your opponent before he does the same to you. You would think that it'd be a half-assed Bejeweled clone or something, but it's not. Definitely try it out.

Sword & Sworcery is a no brainer.

I can probably think of some more later.

Sam and Max episode 1 is free right now, I just downloaded that. I will probably download the rest of the titles on my computer. Jetpack Joyride is awesome. I am also a fan of Game Developer Story and Mega Mall Story, they are a more expensive than most iphone games but if you enjoy simulations they are oh so worth it!

I was about to jump at this. And then I realized I already have the game.

After that I realized that this thread involves a type of phone I don't own. ()

I'm a huge Dizzy fan so I had to get the remake of Prince of the Yolkfolk. Along with that I enjoy the usual candidates: Canabalt, Fruit Ninja, Infinity Blade, Robot Unicorn Attack.

I went back to iOS for the Tapatalk app, much prefer it for lurking and posting here more than the desktop version these days.

Came here to suggest Jetpack Joyride. It was an amazing bargain when it was $1 and now that it's free it's a no-brainer.

    Fantastic little game.

It's hard to say. I've gotten into a lot of games but I tire of them quickly. Of course there's Tetris, there's the obligatory "Bubble Shooter" game. I've also enjoyed the Galaga homage "Radiant" as well as a few tower defense games. (This is Android)

In the past I've thoroughly enjoyed Trainyard, World of Goo, Triple Town, Gunman Clive (FANTASTIC), Dummy Defense and Delver.

Fruit Ninja, Secret of Mana, Temple Run, Scribblenauts, Zombies Run! (it counts), Chop Sushi!, Phoenix Wright, Game Dev Story... and can I mention how happy I am that no one's mentioned Angry Birds?

I'm personally a fan of Angry Birds, although not much of a fan of Rovio, and I think some of the hype surrounding it is a little over done. I think the main reason nobody's mentioned Angry Birds is because if you haven't heard of it by now then you probably don't know what a smart phone is either...

EDIT: I like this thread because I have trouble finding decent games for my iphone, so probs gobble for starting it

Any objection to this thread title being amended to include Android games as well? Lots of crossover there.

    It is done!

As for me: I mostly play The Pinball Arcade (new table DLC typically comes out on iOS and Android a month earlier than consoles), but I also really dig Robot Unicorn Attack, World of Goo, Plants vs. Zombies, Canabalt, Monsters Ate My Condo, Peggle, Osmos, and NBA Jam (Android version plays shockingly well). There's also been two Humble Bundles for Android so far, and they've included some great stuff. Grabatron and the Hungry Shark games are fun timewasters as well.

Serious question: Where the hell is Puzzle Quest for Android? Did that company tank or something?
