Name me some fun Dreamcast games.

I've been playing a lot of the DC lately and it's fun as hell. At a time when I'm pretty sick of realistic shooting games, I find Dreamcast games to be something of a breath of fresh air.

I have two controllers and might get some more for Power Stone 2 sessions, so please, just tell me everything good for the Dreamcast to play.

Why don't you start by listing what you have played first.

Well if you like space shooters, then Armada is a no-brainer.

Also, Space Channel 5 and Skies of Arcadia.

    Some of my favorites.

    Good call, Dig.

Draconus controls may be a little floaty, but gods if the d&d nerd in me doesn't fucking love that game.

All good suggestions so far. Definitely go for Skies of Arcadia and Shenmue. The Sonic Adventure games are alright and one of my favourites was Power Stone.

Surprised in Capcom's recent milking of fighting games that hasn't been resurrected.

Other than that there's the usual suspects: Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio, ChuChu Rocket, Sega Bass Fishing, I still own my fishing rod, it's sweet.

    Gunlord.

Lol, I dunno. It's a schmup that releases in Europe today apparently.

(Don't judge me for linking to that site.)

If you can find a set of the maracas, Samba De Amigo is awesome. Especially if you get two sets and invite friends over.

    Record of Lodoss War
    Sword of Bezerk
    Dragonriders of Pern
Grandia 2 (it's really the best version)
Any fighting game on DC is good, there are tons (Soul Caliber, SNK vs. Capcom, Marvel vs. Capcom, etc.)
Spawn --> Fun as hell with friends split screen.
    E.G.G (Elemental Gimmick Gear)
    Last Blade 2
    Draconus
Space Channel 5 --> Because it's crazy as hell weird and fun.

Nanatsu no Hikan: Senritsu Bishou (Seven mansions)
If you don't mind importing, you could try this Survival Horror, which is possible to play in coop splitscreen.

    Treasure Strike
Another import, kinda like Powerstone games/Spawn: Into the Demon's Hand/Heavy Metal Geomatrix, except with a sort of CTF twist.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6YiXUcmsBAg

    L.O.L. - Lack of Love
Weird evolutionairy game, much more fun then Seaman or Seventh Cross Evolution. In which you guide a weird creature over a extraterestial planet where you evolve your critter by opting to choose to interact or eat your contemporaries.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t8ziIZzlVeA

    Zombie Revenge
One of my favorite games on Dreamcast, tough as nails zombie themed Beat'em up game in the House of the Dead universe, even with the 14 credits they give you, I don't know that many that finished this game. But it's possible to finish it with 1 credit, saw some HK folk do it (but you need to make use of a certain few secret rooms, not all of them because some of them are hazerdous and are better left skipped). Tons of boss fights, tons of weapons like guitar rocketlauncher/machinegun, gasoline+lighter, driller, lasergun, dualpistols (there's also a cool 1 off secret weapon depot in the game where you pick your favorite weapons and put them in a bag for you to summon when you need it), 2 players, pretty deep fighting system with a decent move list, last stage is the House from the first HOTD. What do you want more?

Here's the 1cc (no credit) run from the HK guys featuring the cool weapon depot/bomb shelter @1:13

    Illbleed
If Suda51 made a game for Dreamcast this would've been it. Your a participant of a Haunted Hause gameshow except not everyone leaves this haunted house alive. You even get to fight Zodick the Hellhog :P
*Note this clip is played with a secret character toyhunter, so your not eally playing with weird SD characters.

    Cannon Spike
A really fun overhead run & gun/shmup title from Psikyo, featuring an all star Capcom cast (Cammy from Super Street Fighter II or Arthur from Ghosts 'n Goblins etc.). It has multiplayer of course, random stage order, tons of mini bosses and boss fights. And you haven't really finished it until you've done the game proper (first run on a difficulty higher then 4 without credit, then you have to do another loop of the game).

    Maken X
A pretty nice first person hack'n slash game where you can brainjack (aka PLAY AS) bosses from the game. With character designs by Kazuma Kaneko from Atlus's Persona and Megami Tensei games, so the bosses you "brainjack" are weird creatures not from this world, think off mutated russian soldiers who shoots blades from his tongue or an oil sheik with a fire breathing tentacle parasite in his belly, and you can play as these weirdo's, you can kinda choose which path you will follow good, neutral or evil. Both will have different bosses as you will face off against different factions. (it also got released on PS2 as Maken Shao Demon Sword, but that one is third person so it's kinda a different experience, I enjoyed both though).

    Geist Force
Seems like a fun unreleased rail shooter (Panzer Dragoon, Sin & Punishment, Afterburner, Star Fox), that's getting ripped by assemblergames and released on the internet soon.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gsJCXJCmcUg

    Propeller Arena: Aviation Battle Championship
Cool dogfighting arena game, that went unreleased but has found itself to the internet with cool little dogfighting tricks like flying backwards to shoot your pursuer or make looping to fly behind your pursuer and other stuff.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_z29U6kc6hI

    Carrier
A cool little Survival horror game, in which you have to watch out what you pick up since you have to go through the area a second time with another character later on. So don't go on pick up all those ammunition boxes and med kits, they seem plenthora at first but when you have to go through the area with the girl, everything will be gone!
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p98TVokcYRs

    Charge'n Blast
Cool little crosshair shooter (Cabal, Wild Guns, Riot, Dynamite Duke), it's a gem if you can appreciate the genre.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0_bkU_M9tx0

    Blue Stinger
Punchy little survival horror, you have to fight off mutated jeep boss hehe
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bn_PAHCTL68

Spawn: Into the Demon's Hand/Heavy Metal GEOMATRIX
Kinda the same game, Heavy Metal Geomatrix misses the 4 player it does have in the arcade version... Spawn has it intact Kidna like Powerstone and the new Anarchy Reigns/Max Anarchy game from Platinum Games.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4TF7SrJfWcg

    DeSPIRIA
Weird game from the makers of Hell Night/Dark Messiah, interesting cyberpunk tale in a Point&Click Adventure/RPG (with the aid from paranormal mind defenses... not from human characters)
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=23GCVUCanWc

    Vermillion Desert
Back to imports, strategy simulation title in a futuristic war.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LMZmFLoEzck

    Rune Jade
Another import, this time a Diablo clone. If you fancy a little Diablo on you Dreamcast.
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LMaLBGdaFl0

    Gunlord
If you like europe run & guns like Turrican this is pretty much it for the Dreamcast (and Neo Geo system).
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o_1y6DQ1W9E

    Berserk: Guts' Rage
Punchy side story to Berserk anime/manga.

    Undercover A.D. 2025 Kei
Sorry! Guilty pleasure.. :P Action adventure game

    Confidential Mission

    Death Crimson 2
Guilty pleasure part 2... Lightgun title, part adventure
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fDtzRY0gDF8

Watch nicovideo how to play properly though:

    Soul Fighter
Another SORRY! But mentioning this, but this a guilty pleasure!
It's not quite God Hand, with floaty physics and stuff.. but eh... it's a beat'em up!

I also approve of Dynamite Deka II/Dynamite Cop!
