MAGfest 11: YUP, PRE-REG IS ALREADY AVAILABLE

So MAGfest 11 pre-reg just opened up. Maybe it's PAX paranoia, but I'd reallllllllllllllly like to get a group reg started for this as soon as possible. I should be able to coordinate a group reg this time unless someone else really wants to get in.

DATES: Jan 3 - Jan 6 (Thursday through Sunday)

Gaylord National Hotel and Convention Center

COST: $30 if you sign with a group of 8+ people, $40 individual, $100 if you want a bag of swag and t-shirt

Rooms generally don't fill up that quickly because you often have a lot of local people coming in and don't need to reserve a room. I think you shouldn't worry about getting your own room just so don't wake people up. Instead, request card keys for each person. I did that last year with three other people and it all worked out hunky dory peachy keen.

I'm preregistered already (I did supporter, so I'm not in for the group reg). I'd like to book my room just to get it out of the way, but I'll wait to see when everyone else is coming in, and if it's worth coming in Wednesday night or Thursday morning.

I haven't heard any mention of it. In fact, I still haven't booked a room or anything, but I've got no cash for it. With PAX in a few weeks, and then buying books for class afterwards, I'm trying to save all the money I can.
