Red Dead Redemption for some hardcore matches, poker, and achievement hunting?

Looking to play some past Rockstar games in preparation for Max Payne's release on Tuesday. I'm mostly interested in playing Red Dead, and looking for some people to play with. Competitive hardcore, or regular co op and free roam are both good for me, as well as some poker or dice.

TA annoys me for the focus on planned boosting sessions, I'd go to x360a first.

Yeah, the community at x360a seems quite nice. Helped me with ODST's vidmasters, iirc.

There's a core of cool people but most people on there are actually terrible and clueless when it comes to boosting achievements.

Heh, ODST's Vidmasters, Endure was horrific but Deja Vu was hella fun.

Also by achievement hunting, I meant things like the co op achievements, posse on a pedestal, have gun will travel, etc, not boosting.

I wanted to do Halo 3's Vidmaster Annual a few nights ago for fun but one of our number had connection issues. Such a shame, it's one of the most fun things to do in that game.

Tell me about it. A friend and I bought Anniversary last week and had to give up after lagging out just before the end of the second level on Legendary. Just gave up after that.

Annual is fun when people know what they're doing. Especially the end with everybody in ghosts.

Anniversary, and all other Halo games, just should not be played in co-op over the internet.
