I think there's a general release and an early access release, you can/could sign up for the latter though.

Yeah, my money's going to Aliens: Colonial Marines instead.

I like Dead Space, but I don't love Dead Space enough to buy the third one. As much as I enjoyed the second one and how it upped its game in terms of technicality and suspense, the story was purposefully stalled and I don't think this one will push it forward. Dropping £40/$60 for this just isn't in my interest now. Not with the co-op being billed as the complete experience (you get achievements for completing Carver's little side-quests).
