I actually wanted to target Used on the second night, with Tarvu as the back up suggestion. So Muckfoot running his mouth was the best thing to happen to the villager team, aside from Tarvu spotting me.

Hahah, yeah, that was a lie. But it was a lie for the greater good! I knew usedtabe wasn't told that he was attacked; I was the only Villager who knew what happened the first night, though some others had guessed it right. I was actually considering killing Muckfoot because he was the first to guess it, because he could have been a Werewolf with the information of knowing that there was an attack but it was thwarted. I'm really glad usedtabe went with it. I wasn't sure he was going to.
ZP, regarding my irrational behavior this game, it was largely because I was made one of the Lovers, and Byronic stipulated that in order for the Lovers to win, they must be alive at the end of the game. That's why I didn't nominate myself for Sheriff (didn't want to attract unwanted attention), and that's why I spent my kill potion early.
I figured that the longer the game went on, the greater the chance that the Werewolves would target used again (or me... but probably used), so it was in my best interest to bring the game to its conclusion as quickly as possible. It ran the risk of taking out somebody important, but I was reasonably sure that ZP was either a Werewolf or a vanilla Villager given how he jumped on me for claiming to be one in a game where there would be so few. I had a better shot winning with a random kill than if I had held off.
I was pretty sure when I got word that usedtabe made me his Lover that we'd lose this game, and it wasn't until Tarvu came out accusing FromTheRiver that I thought I actually had a chance. Lovers in an eight player game is rough, and if I didn't also happen to be the Witch, we would have been taken out on night 1 thanks to usedtabe's "guess who is Cupid and made himself a Lover" thing.
The cupid thing had nothing to do with picking Used
River just wanted to shut him up![]()
As far as which roles should be in a game as small as this, I don't think the Seer should be axed, but I think it should be one of the only Villager roles. I definitely think taking out the Bodyguard was a good idea, because leaving him in makes the Seer's decision to out himself much easier. If I were to run an eight player game, I'd probably do 6v2 like Byronic had it, but leave out everything other than the Seer.
Cupid definitely balances things against the Villagers (on average), and in larger games the Vigilante is typically worse for the Villagers, but in smaller games the Vigilante is extremely powerful. It's good that it was switched to the Hunter-type thing, where he only gets a kill when he is killed.
I was also surprised that Byronic gave the Seer power to see roles rather than just teams. When Tarvu claimed Bizarro was the Vigilante and Bizarro confirmed it, that basically set it in stone, because that would be way too difficult to pull off for a team of Werewolves.
So who was the Thief?
If y'all who are participating would wager a guess, how much longer does the main game have? I haven't been following it.
I think we're still a ways from finishing. We finally had our first death earlier this weekend.
You'd probably have time to do a rematch, just shuffle the roles. Maybe remove the witch role?
We're still a ways off. Weekends make almost no progress as half the people aren't able to check in and don't leave COs ahead of time.
Rather than shrinking the map faster (I don't wanna close off too many of the spots), I've introduced temporary closings though. There's a high potential for a lot of damage the next few days while everybody is closer together.
In other words I think we have time for another Graveyard game.
Well if anyone is interested all you have to do is fill out this form below.

I personally liked how you called the Day phases. Makes things more fluid. If we could keep games in this manner I don't thing wins/losses over calling the Days would matter because there would be so many games being played continuously.

Not sure how I'll go about adding on new roles if we get higher numbers this time. I don't want to overpopulate the game with special abilities as that can really fuck up the balance, but I might throw in the Little Girl, the Bodyguard or a variant on the Drunk if it comes to it.
