In the main game? Most of them can't. So far almost everybody who could have attacked has done so. The zones will be forcing people into fights soon.

I could start the game with 8 players but it might be more fun with ten or so. we'll see how interest goes.

It's going to be the standard werewolf affair but I'll be adjusting the voting process to see if we can streamline it. During the day phase, players simply put forward their vote on who they want to lynch or if they want to abstain. If more players vote to abstain than vote to lynch any single player, no lynching occurs. If more people want to kill a particular player than want to abstain, however, the player who receives the most votes against them is executed.

If the day phase is dragging because we're still waiting on players to put in their votes, I'll give a heads up that we're to move on with the game. If necessary (e.g. a good few hours later), I'll simply call an end to the phase with any unresolved votes counting as 'abstain.'

It will all be done publicly and we won't be bothering with private messaged COs - this is to promote discussion. I know this may result in delays in the game but this way we won't have players using COs to subvert public expectations. Feel free to use COs publicly, though.

I'll also be introducing at least one new role as a replacement of one of the older roles. The Witch is a villager-aligned role with a night phase action after everyone else has acted. The Witch has two potions (subject to change according to player count) that he/she can use only once each throughout the game: one potion will save the victim of a wolf attack, the other will curse a player of the Witch's choosing to death. Last thing during the night phase, the Witch will be told who the wolves have targeted to die and can choose to use either or both of these potions, or neither.

    Sound good?

I know you've been calling for "streamlining" of the voting process for awhile now, Byronic, so it'll be good to see how it pans out. My main worry with it all being done publicly (and the reason I changed it in middle of Game 1) is that it will allow players to wait and see where the group favor lies before deciding what to do.

While I agree, at the same time we all KNOW this so doing so wouldn't necessarily be a good strategy.

It's tempting, but I'm already not good enough at really playing one game, so it's probably best I not push my luck with 2 at a time.

That's a fair concern. I'm not sure if it would be better to avoid private voting in order to increase public discourse or to allow private voting in order to deter yesmanning. There are advantages and disadvantages to both. To be honest I'm mainly going with keeping voting public because of how prolific private actions have been in the past two games.

Nope! Byronic screwed you out of your win. But it wasn't just out of spite. He did it to ensure his own victory.

Check this post for the summary.

It was totally out of spite.

Need at least 3 more people if we want this to go down.

I'm hesitant to join. I'm not sure if I could manage being in two games at the same time myself.

Considering how little there is for *us* to keep track of in the main game, I don't think it'd be too difficult to be in two at once. If we had two games going where we didn't know our teammates, that would get confusing.

I'd join but he's a poop. Fuck you Byronic.

No but seriously what is the suggested game?

  19. #1219
It's typical werewolves, with wolves and a seer and villagers and all that.

If the current main game will take ages then I'd be up for that.
