thats awesome. that means I'll be able to get my parents to send mine out here.
I was afraid they'd cut it too close and it would be a pain in the ass.

Nihil, I'm covering bets and stating here (and on the Google Group) that I'll take your passes if they're still on the table. Can't PM you because I'm a forum noob or something, so e-mail me at email@example.com.

Sad you can't come...

Yeah. I'm grateful to have at least gotten a taste last year, though.
Soon as this vehicle stuff is sorted out, funding for magfest shall begin and I will make it there.
Unless, of course, the universe implodes in December.

How many people coming to PAX watch Breaking Bad? The finale is going to be Sunday night, and I'll be able to "acquire" the episode by 9pm or so. I'm thinking of hosting a mini-viewing party at my apartment (~10 min walk from the convention center) Sunday night for Dtoiders.
Would anyone be interested?

I just sent off my Sunday passes. I single tear rolled down my cheek. When I went to PAX in 2007, I had such a good time that I vowed I would go every year as long as I could. Sad that my streak is broken this year. =(

Let's be clear up front. Breaking Bad is serious business. There will be no commercial breaks in the viewing, so anyone wanting to come must accept the following rules:
- We go to the bathroom, check our phones, and smoke our cigarettes before Breaking Bad begins.
- We do not pause Breaking Bad.
- We do not speak during Breaking Bad, aside from appropriate gasps and laughter. We especially do not discuss episode happenings until after the episode's happenings have concluded.
I'm sure there are more I'm not thinking of right now. I'll write up a contract everyone can sign before the night is upon us.
All that said, I'll provide Los Pollos Hermanos, crystal meth, and the requisite booze. It'll be a good time.

Brother, I take Breaking Bad more seriously than literally anything else in my entire life. When I'm watching Heisenberg cook that tasty blue shit I don't speak, text, breathe, sneeze, or so much as scratch my motherfucking balls.
You won't hear a peep out of me, and if one of your other guests so much as coughs I'll slit their knife like Gustavo Fring with the box cutter. Respect.
EDIT: That said, I better check with Conor to see when he was needing to leave Seattle. Monday's Labor Day and all, but he might be thinking we were going back Sunday night, so I need to make sure he's on board.

I don't have a fucking clue about my schedule yet.
I also haven't watched Breaking Bad.

Conor you are doing life wrong.
