Smoother. Tighter graphics.
Gun game is an official game mode now.
More guns, some of the old ones are tuned a bit too.
Theres like just new stuff. But, its great and it looks great.

This is how I feel about Natural Selection 2, except, that's not in true 'beta' as anyone can get in if they buy the full game (~$30) but I've actually started to learn people's names. A strange thing I haven't done since I was part of a community for Team Fortress Classic.

I'm really tempted. I haven't got it pre-ordered, and I doubt I'll get it right on day 1, but I probably will grab it on Mac/PC within the next fortnight. Give them a chance to recover from the initial surge, iron out the inevitable new bugs and exploits, etc.
