I heard one about all the zombie maps in CoD B.O. On every map there is a hidden switch/node that tells you a snippet of the story (of the modes universe). Ending with moon map at which point you launch a nuke into earth and then go down. Supposedly this the story for the new zombie mode in B.O. 2. I tried finding shit in the first two maps but was not successful enough. Not paying to try the rest.

There was a kid in my neighborhood who swore that if you hit a certain button combination during the pre-password jogging sequence in Mike Tyson's Punch-Out! you would get an extra scene showing Little Mac jumping rope. When we called him on it he couldn't replicate it. He also claimed there was a way to actually finish Minus World in SMB without dying by running out of time and he got to a "Minus 2" level. We stopped talking to him after a while.

Some were absolutely ridiculous, like "collect all 35 1/35 soldiers" or "get a bazillion points in the gold saucer rollercoaster game"

I remember back when Tekken 3 (PS1) was new I saw online something about winning without loosing a round 100 times in a row, and some other stipulation about perfect wins. This was to unlock Devil Jin.

You can imagine I was disappointed when in later games I finally got to play as Devil Jin and preferred ordinary Jin.
