Just finished Dizzy Prince of the Yolkfolk on Android for my 48th completion. Classic game from the C64 days, still remembered every puzzle after all these years.
I feel like I missed out on a franchise. I only remember two Dizzy games that came out on the NES that weren't licensed and hence had no Nintendo "Seal of Quality." It seems like more came out than that...
At any rate, I beat two more games!
iOS - Cthulu Saves the World (This game is hilarious, and I'm now messing around with the bonus modes)
Wii - Super Mario Galaxy 2
There were 9 platform/puzzle games and then some spin offs too. I loved the series and still have all my cassettes, I hope more are re-released.
Completed Game Room today on 360, I can see why this failed, number of glitches, many games had shit sensitivity so as an example your paddle on breakout would fly across the screen at the slightest of push on either the stick or d-pad.
The Konami games are the pick of the crop as all work much better than the Atari and Intellivision emulations on there, still okay for memories of years gone by if you want a legal source for these games. Most people will still consider the price of the games a rip-off but being an achievement completion whore I had to wrap it up after I'd started it.
