    dtoidwink Genderbending

So, a few days ago I asked about femLink. Now I ask you guys this: Which videogame characters would you like to genderbender? Not only male to female, but female to male too? Pics appreciated. Like this one:

I can't sit idly by and let this Forum become one of those Forums. Transgender Link was a one-off and was fun, your other thread just happened to pick the right character to feed off of that. This is getting beyond dumb.

Hey, anybody remember that episode of The X Files called Gender Bender?

It's the one with the Amish guy who could turn into a woman and back again. Well, I liked that one.

Ugh. I hate that movie. Even if it didn't have Mulder and Scully, it would have still been a tedious thriller from start to finish.

Anybody watching the current series of Misfits on Channel 4 in the UK will know why I mention it here.

I liked the ones with the stretchy guy that could stretch out and then he got eaten by an escalator.

I thought the stretchy guy ended up in an institution where he started building one of his newspaper nest. Also, I called your mom, didn't leave a message. Sorry.

Yes, in Squeeze (Season 1, Episode 3) Toombs was caught trying to eat Scully and sent to an institution. He returned towards the end of the first season when...

The best episodes of the X-Files were the one with Charles Nelson Riley as the scifi author, the black and white episode with all the Cher songs, the one where Micheal McKean was a changeling, the one that told the origin of the Lone Gunmen, the one with the 1940's negro league baseball player played by Tom Collins from Rent, the Peter Boyle: Psychic one, the one where Bruce Campbell was a demon, and the Rashomon homage with the fat ginger kid from The Sandlot and The Big Green. And probably a few others I just can't remember right now. Honestly that show went to shit right around season six or so.

Also, answer to OP's question: None. Seriously, that's a thing I just don't get at all.

That is exactly what I thought about when I read the title of this thread.

Is that the one with the prehistorical man/woman stalking the city streets?

Yeah, it's from The Jersey Devil. It turned out it was a feral couple in the woods.

Have you ever read Bruce's autobiography? He talks about that episode, where David Duchovny had a fart box and kept using before a scene, so Bruce couldn't keep a straight face. I like that one because it shows that when he's not playing wisecracking sidekicks and taking the piss out of his persona, Bruce Campbell can put in a great performance (see also: The Woods).

He was great in The Woods, and ended up being the hero regardless of not being the star. The Campbell way.

And of course I've read his autobiography. I love If Chins Could Kill.

You know, I thought BC's role in The Woods was basically going to be him silently acting in the background. I though, "Oh! Awesome, he's going to do something completely different!" Then, his character was written out for most of the film and while it was a good movie, I was a little saddened by that. THEN, his character came back...WITH DIALOGUE. Plus, he had an axe (from the woodshed, obviously) and rescued a bunch of teenage girls.

After that, I don't know why I was sad at all.
