Quite simple, really. What in your life would you be willing to give up in order to be able to play videogames? A body part? The ability to drive? Da wimminz?
I'm curious to know how far we'd all go.

I already give up sleep, and have given up eating on many occasions.
Nothing too drastic though.
Sleep. Food, drink and company enhance my enjoyment of the One True Noble Sport.
But I would give up all three.
I've given up sleep for certain games. From staying up all night playing Felix the Cat on the NES as a child to staying up all night just driving the Mako around all the planets in Mass Effect as a man-child, I've been there and will continue to do that kinda stuff when a game hits a chord with me.
As for giving up anything of real note? Absolutely not. I don't need video games that much.
Nah. I make time for games rather than give up anything.
All in moderation folks.
I would give up my chesthair.
;_;
Nada.
I would give up video games to play video games...OH WAIT N...!

I gave up having a significant social life during high school to play games. I beat a shit tonne of them and can't say that I really regretted it too much since high school sucks and I'm still friends with all the worthwhile people from it.

I actually drink less when playing video games. I only get crazy hardcore smashed when I come to Destructoid.
My appendix.
Things I've given up to play video games before
Food
Friends
Gigs
Shower
Sleep
Women
Work
All depends on the right game.
I gave up my gallbladder and I still barely play video games.
Hm my legs I make software for a living and play games in my spare time.
Those things just weigh me down anyway ^^
I already gave up fitness because of the games. Only other thing I'll still give up is my time and money. This makes me think if maybe there is a way to gain from video games.
