I've got enough roles for everyone for anything up to a ten player game, again all roles are provisional so please voice any dislikes/concerns.
The other roles I've thought of/copied off the Internet is:
Medium: Is able to hold a seance and contact a dead player, said player is able to talk for the rest of that day phase. Dead player cannot vote, power is single use only and just be played during the day*
Priest: At night is informed of the role of whoever died the night before (i.e. will be told the role of the victim of night one during night two)
Hunter: Should the hunter and a wolf be the last two players alive, tempe hunter will kill the wolf and win the game for the villagers.
Combine these roles with the previously mentioned Devil and Lycan roles, add in two wolves, a bodyguard, seer and vigilante and that's ten in total, making one possibly unbalanced game!
*- Internets said that for a seance to occur everyone needs to vote whether they want to be a part of it; should the majority rule in favour then the dead player will be able to speak, I cut this out for speed reasons but didn't know if you lot thought it was worth keeping?

I think I'm going to sit the next game out. I got pretty bored of it in the last game, so I think I need to take a break for a few games to regain the interest. Though I may change my mind if it looks like another big game will happen.

Reckon anyone else will join?
Hopefully DJ will get his interest back soon!
I dunno. The bigger games are pretty much undeniably better than the smaller ones, but people lose interest in the smaller ones. We need another rally of new people to join!
Maybe we should attempt another recruitment drive?
Alternatively we could harass previous players into taking part again, nothing too extreme - some reminder PM's that could possibly be construed as threats by sensitive types but ultimately wouldn't stand as evidence of abuse or bullying in court perhaps?
I don't think there's a need to start harassing folks with PMs. Previous players know the game exists.
They just know that nothing can top Supernatural, obviously.
I think it was that someone made a blog advertising the supernatural game that brought all the fresh meat in.
Yeah, I try not to abuse my front page powers to my own ends too much, but it was after that that we got a good chunk of people.
Should I just start this game soon with the seven of you, I'll take out some roles and try to balance it up.
I don't mind waiting, but it's looking unlikely that anyone else will join for now,
I'd rather have at least ten, if we can get it. Fifteen would be ideal, but that seems out of the question. I can wait for a bit longer.
If it get's up to at least 15, then I may rejoin. That would be pretty fun.
I don't think we're going to see 15 again. I'm doing the recap again tonight since Tony is at MAGfest. Maybe I will sneak in another "come play with us" post.
I couldn't put up a full Werewolf Hotness post because I was assigned that American Psycho video, but I did make it a Forum Thread of the Day. We'll see if that does anything. (Doubtful.)
Doesn't look like the Forum Thread of the Day link did anything. Should we get started?
Can do, I'll cut some roles out to try and make it fairer first.
Right, I've decided we can do any of the following games:
A - A classic game, with wolves, seer, vigilante, guard and lovers (no Cupid)
B - A game where everyone has a role
C - Same as above but every role also has an eccentricity
The last two could be over in a matter of days depending upon how unbalanced they may be, but it would mean everyone has a role.
The "Classic mode" option is there as this would be reminiscent of the mini games we played in the other thread.
I've got all three worked out so once you've all decided we can go for it.
Personally I like the sound of option the third, the crazier the better.
Yeah, give me the crazy.
