Dtoid Halloween Costume Discussion 2011!

All Hallow's Eve is nearly upon us, the only time of year when prostitutes, zombies, and frat boys in Mario costumes join together for a weekend of debauchery. Some people like the candy, others prefer the cleavage; I enjoy that I can go to the bar and watch a slasher flick instead of some shit sporting event. I also love trying to guess if the juggalos are being ironic or not.

Back to the topic: feel free to share your costume ideas here, help other Dtoiders with their costume choice, or just bullshit about Halloween activities in general. I think I'm going to dress as this fellow right here:

I hope for it every year, but I never see anyone dressed like this:

I have a Halloween party this Saturday. I'm broke.

So I'm gonna go as a Mormon Wolverine. With beard, tinfoil claws, Bible, and Jack Daniels to go with it (it's BYOB, not part of the custom, but ironic nonetheless).

I'm going to be a modern Ghostbuster. I have a brown jacket made from the same material as their jumpsuits and I'm going to sew the GB logo patch on the arm and the nametag with my name on the front. Pictures will be provided. I'm gonna carry around an old school trap toy from the 80's.

My band uses a couple of Furman power strips that just happen to perfectly resemble Ghostbusters traps.

The best way to unravel the cord is to throw them down like the traps too, since they're fairly heavy.

It depends on the mood I'm in. I'd like to go as the Joker again because it's been a while since I've done that, but...you know. You can't just throw on some facepaint for that. Shit has to be special to justify such a thing.

I remember once I put on my suit and tie. Topped that with my leather coat and did my hair a little bit. I asked people to guess who I was, at that point I could be anyone (Unless they noticed the hair), but it's fun to hear their answers. When they guessed wrong I unbuttoned my dress shirt to reveal the Superman logo underneath my shirt. (I just took a cape I had and wore it on the front.)

I'm considering Sub Zero. If I could get a friend to dress up as the Joker I might be able to be Batman and spend the day just beating him up in public. Or at least walk around with him cuffed. I play rough.

My buddy and I were the Boondock Saints last year. I don't even know if I have a reason to dress up this year, though. I've kinda stopped caring about Halloween. We shall see.
