Oh, hey, look. Nobody made a thread for this. Why does nobody take Eurogamer seriously!? ;_;
Eurogamer is taking place from the 22nd to the 25th of September at Earl's Court, London. You can find a breakdown of games there and scheduled developer sessions here, and get your tickets here.
DtoidUK/DtoidEU community members will be in attendance at various points over the event. You can find the thread for it here in the DtoidEU mailer. There is no hostel accommodation being booked this year, since everybody has managed to find a rock to crawl under. If you want to join in on any Dtoid related happenings, perhaps introducing yourself in person to the community for the first time, this is a great event to do it at!
There might even be a badge for it soon. That's bound to get you motivated to go, right?

As it stands the plans so far include:
Friday night - Jurassic Park at a yet to be determined cinema in central London followed by drinks somewhere nice afterwards.
Saturday night - As far as I'm aware Karaoke is the main plan, I won't be there because Karaoke is the devils past time. I'll be watching Lost in Translation on a rooftop bar in London, it's just how I role.
Away the best place to follow all of this is the emailer no matter how off rails it gets.
I'm going to GAMEfest. I couldn't tell you why. I only just found out this year that the UK has games conferences. Further to that, I only found out after booking GAMEfest that Eurogamer was a far bigger/better event.
Learning is a motherfucker sometimes.
Having said that I'm ALSO going to Eurogamer. I came to my senses, see. A bit too late, though, as I could only get a ticket for Sunday.
I don't think it'd be worth it, to be honest. I can only get tickets for Sunday now, so I'd be flying there and back - also stopping for the night somewhere - for just a day. I'd sooner keep my money for gamescom, really.
