I went to Best Buy this past weekend to try to preorder the Loot Hunter edition, but it wasn't available. I even checked Amazon, and it wasn't there either. I'm currently watching Gametrailers E3 live cast and they had Randy Pitchford on there who said that it completely sold out. Damn!

Hey guys. This is semi-Borderlands related, but I interviewed Gearbox's Mikey Neumann today on my website. He talks a little bit about his start at Gearbox, what it's like writing for games, and his fiction writing career. Most of the interview is about his serialized novel The Returners but I thought you might be interested in checking it out. He's a cool dude.

Not really. I thought people might be interested. The guy wrote the original Borderlands and is part of the team working on Borderlands 2.

I feel kinda bad because I had been reading The Returners, but then shit got busy at work and in life and I think I stopped around Chapter 22 or so. Now I just don't feel motivated to get back into it. Still, he's a pretty funny dude. I can definitely hear his sense of humor in several of the clips of the game that I've seen, especially in the level where you have to destroy those statues of Handsome Jack.

This is one I'll put my backlog to one side for.

Definitely getting it for 360, I'll message/add you when all of my friends are done wanting to play this as the "new flavor" of the month. Though if it's anything like the original, I'll still have friends down to play years from launch.

I'll add you as well, Edd. Nothing wrong with more people wanting to play some Borderlands 2.

I considered buying the season pass for a second then thought "Mad Moxxi" and said "HELL NO".

Same. I never even got the last DLC claptrap whatever. Ned and Knoxx were passable but nothing spectacular. Definitely not giving these fucks $30 up front just to hope it's worth it.

Moxxi had potential if they made them like 1/5th of the length and gave better rewards.

as it is it's kind of masochistic.

I like the idea of the "slag" effect. It's going to be sweet playing the Gunzerker class and having a slag machine gun in one hand and an incendiary machine gun in the other.

Are there any details about what the "Mechromancer" DLC class does?

I'll probably get the season pass. I really enjoyed Ned and Knoxx and I have faith that they won't make a mistake like they did with Moxxi.

    Nothing really conclusive.

It's a girl, she has a "pet robot" that behaves differently regarding the tree. Outside of that the only information I've seen is this ricochet shooting mechanic that can effectively make you shoot around corners or still hit people from behind cover.

I'm pretty broke this month, but I might have to put it on credit card. Gotta figure out where I want to pre-order it.
