It's a shame Spartan Ops doesn't let you record films, I really wanted to make a clip with all those sentient guns skittering along the ground firing at us earlier tonight. Shit was fun and funny.

Unfortunately all of the lag the rest of the time we played Spartan Ops was pretty unbearable.

I have shut this game off a couple of times because of how bad my lag was, and it isn't because of my NAT. My Nat is always Open. I honestly think it has to do with 343 using player hosted games instead of dedicated servers. I would happily put up with more micro-transactions and con artistry for a stable game. Mind you, it's still a scummy practice, but in the long run I'd like to play a game where I can shoot someone who is Australian.

I've been noticing more lag since the last playlist update. I'm guessing they probably hot patched something in, because it's been effecting me enough to notice (especially in SWAT)

Yeah, I've been getting lag more regularly than usual as well. I saw two of the same dude in a hall on Adrift at one point, running after himself.

NAT is always open. It's whatever update they did. Never had lag like that in this game. I've played all Spartan Ops episodes co-op without hassle but last night was IMAX mode where nothing was moving but your view. They broke the regional filter as well. Played with a bunch of Canada and Mexico a la Gears which hasn't really happened till last night.

In SWAT i'm also running into a lot more "simultaneous shot" situations where both myself and the person i'm shooting at both die. Despite me clearly shooting first.

Unrelated - Halo 4's forums on Halo Waypoint have officially made me lose faith in gamers a bit. You have people there who think the changes 343 made are killing the population because the population had a dropoff about a week after the game came out.

It's like they're completely oblivious to the fact that Black Ops II is out.

Reading those forums it seems people who never had lag issues before the update are now getting them and people who had issues now have a solid experience. I guess we have to take turns with online stability.
