It's a fucking AI. It's not real. It's like becoming emotionally unstable because your copy of Windows Office has corrupted. Maybe the game is mocking the autist overlords who become too attached to fictional, virtual characters? I can't tell. I'm going to go with it though, because I like that explanation and it makes the moment enjoyable. That shit was incredibly heavy handed with the melodrama coated on thick.

Props to the slow motion "Hold the analog stick to crawl" moment. Contemporary military FPSes don't have enough of those in my estimation.

Cowboy Bebop had the perfect death scene. Julia gets shot in the dome, the birds fly out, and then she falls flat on her face. No big melodramatic speech, no overdrawn farewell. Blat blat, dead. The impact of the moment should speak for itself. If you need to coax the viewer into giving a shit after the fact, then you've done a rather shitty job as a story teller.

It was terrible, I had to sacrifice so much just to keep us in the game.

That doesn't sound like Bloo at all, it's not in his character. I scored the flag twice during the game in question and he didn't betray me. I think you got yourself killed by an enemy and are trying to blame the brown man.

You had to counteract how detrimental Rev was to the team. It's a shame he was holding you, us, back.
