HOLY BALLS this game is amazing. The Legend of Zelda fucked a roguelike and had a twisted fucked up baby and it's amazing. Anybody else get it yet?

As a fan of Super Meat Boy, I am definitely going to keep my eye on this one.
If I'm honest though, I am most likely going to pirate this game at first. I am unsure at the moment.

Only played like half an hour but it's been fun so far. Seems a bit on the easy side for a rogue-like, but I'm not really complaining. Definitely worth the price of admission.

I CAN'T STOP PLAYING IT! Seriously, I've been playing it for like 5 hours almost non stop.

It starts out deceptively easy, but wait until you get to the later levels. Also losing everything and starting over on death makes that last hit point frantic.

I know StarTropics is just a Zelda knock-off, but the rooms and stuff remind me a lot of StarTropics moreso than Zelda... somehow... Not that it matters.


Keyboard controls are awkward for my silly controller based hands, but it's fun just the same!

Wish it had a save system (You know, like Zelda) as I had to quit out and do something else, and lost all my progress because of it.
But not having a save system is the only grudge I have so far.

I got to the big boss thing you see on the map...and got killed. Almost beat it too. POOP. I was CRAZY powered up too...I got even more stuff after this

Dungeons of Dredmor did it right, by giving you a save in case real life pops up, and deletes the save when you die.

I was doing great until I stopped running into armor hearts, that's what I get for sacrificing hp for speed and power.

Once I started recognizing the speed powerups I don't take too many of them. One if I'm using Maggie, but going too fast makes it harder to control.

Yeah, I'm still figuring out the powerups, I haven't really run into that many repeats since I've only done a couple of runs.

They damage enemies
It's unreliable as the flies are so small, chances are you'll get hit anyway, but the odd time they damage shit thrown at you, or flies, saving you half a heart
I know I answered you in Steamtoid already, but this is for others.

I don't think they damage enemies but they most certainly can block incoming attacks and other flies, providing of course they hit it. They're awesome.

I've reached Mom twice and died...second time I almost beat her.

Loving this game. Its a dual stick shooter and zelda combined with a wicked sense of humor and grotesque visuals. Been playing it for a couple hours today. Gonna hit it up more tomorrow. Woot!

I've been falling victim to the alt-tab bug , and my game just crashed when the steam update news popped up.

The bad: This fucking game keeps crashing.

The good: I got my controller to work with it, since WASD walking is so unintuitive to me.

The reason there was probably no controller support in the first place: This game is fucking easy with a controller. If only it wouldn't keep crashing on my laptop...
