So Did anyone actually pick this up? I got it and it is feeling like it's not Ninja Gaiden....
Makes me pretty said (Hugs Copies of Ninja Gaiden Black and Ninja Gaiden)

Nah. I don't even want to play after that shitty launch trailer. Obviously not NG.

God, this game is such a massive disappointment. A friend gave it to me after he was done with it, and I can see why. I could barely be bothered to beat the first 3 stages, it was that much of a chore to get through. Total bummer.
The over-the-top violence was part of what endeared me to NG2, and that was just completely ripped out. Having one ninpo move (at least as far as I can tell), and having people BUY DLC WEAPONS was such a mistake. Team Ninja, ya blew it.

At least you didn't have to spend money to figure that out. Some people just wanted to waste cash I guess.
This was the biggest let down of the year.
Would you guys recommend borrowing Ninja Gaiden 3 from a friend? I would have the change to and really liked the first and the second one. Do you think it is just a waste of time and destroys my good memories of the franchise forever or is it probably least somehow enjoyable because I had fun with the older ones?
Someone gave me the game for free, and I could barely get past the first three stages. It's still sitting on my shelf, collecting dust.
If it doesn't cost you anything, sure, go for it. But set your expectations pretty low, or you'll be very disappointed. I guess it's worth playing if you don't have anything else going on. How's that for a ringing endorsement?
