Voilition couldn't even do that with SR3. Highly doubt Rockstar can or will either. SR2 was a masterpiece of fun and won't be soon replicated.

It's impressive, but if you look closely, some of the textures aren't that great. So maybe it's feasible?

Yeah I've come to expect some less than stellar textures hidden there with the aging tech, but it still amazes me what developers manage to push out of it.

They need to go with load out classes IMO. Be nice to have an armored tank class vs sniper types and what not with objectives of defending your Cocaine mansion etc.

RDR wasn't terrible but the gunplay (max payne included) is designed to be used with a mouse really. At least that's how it feels being so loose. So they do that lock on shit to compensate... which is your only option because the aiming sucks.

Free aim in RDR blew, with a mouse it'd be fine. No eraser effect you just couldn't compete with lock on. Now they did have the option to only go into Free Aim games so there's that.
