When Vernon asks if we came via the railroad towards the end, I wonder what he saw. My obvious guess is a whole bunch of zombies shambling towards town, but he had no sense of urgency to get back to his people or book it or anything, and didn't warn Lee's crew so I don't know.

I want Molly back in the next ep.

I suspect Vernon was planning to take the train. His group had upped sticks in the final scene. There was nothing for them in the basement, and his conversation with Lee hinted at something more than just hiding Clem away.

I was suprised Molly left, but they're still in Georgia, so...

As for Ben, I'm expecting the redemptive moment, but considering the twists and turns in this game, I won't be too suprised if it doesn't happen.

Also, could one of the mods move this thread to the games section? I keep forgetting A) we have a discussion thread for this game, B) that other people are playing it and C) it's just bloody awesome and I rarely talk about it!

I've meant to touch on this since I completed the game, and now that I've seen somebody post about it again I've been reminded: I've seen lots of folks talk about how sad and gutted they were after the final episode of The Walking Dead. While it was sad, I didn't have this extreme reaction so many seem to have had.

I was more sad at the end of the fourth episode. When Lee gets bit is when you know there will be no happy ending. By the time the fifth episode came out a month later it had sunken in and I was set resigned to it. Sadder than the very end was the mid point in episode five, when Kenny died. I wasn't as sad by Lee's passing when it came time for it. Yeah they tried to give you false hope by removing his arm, but I would think anybody with sense knew it was inevitable. Lee set Clementine up for survival as best he could, and it was all pretty bittersweet. Personally, I'm just left with more questions. Who were those people at the end? Were they Christa and Omid? If not, where are Christa and Omid?

I wonder if season two will be a completely new cast of central characters, or if Clementine will be in with the leads.

oh man kenny dying was rough too, basically just said fuck it and went at them

going into it yeah you knew you were going to die, but the way they delivered it was superb, definitely bittersweet at the end, but basically he's teaching clem to play the adventure game for her to carry on at some point i'd imagine, season two whatever they do has a lot to live up to

i told her to not be afraid at the end, but all those choices would have been good

The end of Episode 4 broke my heart, but I think without that scene, I probably wouldn't have acted the way I did in Episode 5. People were crying over Vernon and co screwing them over and I kept saying, "Fuck them. I don't have time for this bullshit anymore," and when Christa asked about the arm, I chose, "It happened. Get over it."

I was done being the mediator of the group. I'm pretty sure I would still be the cautious type if I hadn't got the bite.

That said, I was welling up in the final scene. When Lee said, "Oh, I can't imagine, Sweetpea..." that was it for me.

This is hitting retail tomorrow, and I'm definitely picking it up.

I've only played their BttF, and I liked it. I'm assuming this is much different because I'd never have considered that to be goty.

BttF is more adventure game then this, which is basically a choose your own adventure book in game form. It's very light on the game elements, but strong on story.
